About Ka-Kit Chua



Ka-Kit Chuais a registered Chinese medicine practitioner in Hong Kong. He pursued his Chinese medicine theory research under the supervision of Dr. Zhang Qingling and clinical research under the supervision of Prof. Li Min. He is also the official disciple in Chinese Medicine of Li Chan-Wo who is the direct line disciple of Master Mrs. Wong Fei-Hung.

Ka-Kit Chua major research area is the theory, clinical trial, education, and policy management of Chinese medicine. He is now mainly focusing on the clinical research of neurodegenerative diseases, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease, treated by Chinese medicine. He had involved in the compilation of Chinese medicine books such as “Parkinson’s disease – The treatment and daily care in terms of Chinese medicine”. He emphasizes the treatment of “spleen and stomach” in terms of Chinese medicine. He used to participate in the research of “spleen and stomach” treatment theory by “Golden Chamber” and Zhu Danxi. He is experienced in treating different diseases through the combination of acupuncture, tuina, and Chinese herbal medicine.
